Janeen Hayward | Sweet Dreams | giggle Blogs

Janeen founded swellbeing -- a parenting consultancy based in NYC - shortly after the birth of her first daughter in 2006.  As a child development expert with a master's degree in clinical psychology, she helps parents nurture healthy and happy children. Often that means she is talking with parents about healthy sleep habits for their young child. Prescriptive and nurturing in her advice, she has assisted hundreds of parents in their quest for well-rested children. Janeen is very passionate about healthy sleep habits as she believes they are fundamental for optimal growth and development in the early years.

In addition to helping parents navigate the difficult terrain around sleep, Janeen offers advice and support on a host of other developmental issues including toilet training, postiive discipline and sibling preparation. Her more inclusive nature has driven her to grow swellbeing outside the city limits of New York City.  Janeen regularly consults with parents in other cities and abroad via the telephone or skype and holds frequent webinars on a range of topics.  Additionally, she is available for  face-to-face consultations in New York City and Chicago.  She also travels nationally to speak at corporate wellness events.

Outside of work, Janeen has the delight of raising two young daughters with her husband.
